In beta
A Mac DAW that gets out of your way.
Neutral Tracks is a DAW for Mac. Record, arrange, and mix on one timeline, with the plugins you already own and nothing added to your sound.
Founding member beta: $99 instead of $149. Invites go out in order.

Built so your time goes to the music.
Everything is where you'd expect it, and the sound is exactly what you put in.
Out of your way
Everything is where you'd reach for it.
Every action is in the menu, the right-click menu, and a shortcut, the same everywhere. Sensible defaults, simple routing, and nothing to hunt for.
Crash protection
A plugin crash can't take down your session.
Every plugin runs in its own process. If one crashes, it restarts on its own and the session keeps playing. Bad plugins are caught before they load.
Any plugin
The plugins you already own work here.
VST3 and Audio Unit, instruments and effects. The formats professional plugins ship in.
Transparent sound
Your audio comes back exactly as it went in.
Bypass every plugin and nothing changes. The audio runs in 64-bit, so nothing degrades along the way. Verified on every build.
ARA editing
Edit pitch and timing in place.
Full ARA2 support. Pitch and timing editors work on the clip itself. No bouncing, no round trips.
Native to the Mac
Fast, lean, and easy on the eyes.
Built with macOS frameworks, not ported. It opens fast, stays small, and follows your system appearance: light, dark, or high contrast.
And everything else you'd expect: record and comp takes, draw automation, meter loudness and peaks, arrange and export on one timeline.
Price
$99 once during the beta, $149 after. No subscription.
Updates are free until the next major version, and major versions are a paid upgrade; your license keeps working either way. A Neutral EQ license credits its list price against it.
Requirements
